Muscular Therapy
Developed by Ben E . Benjamin, which incorporates Swedish massage, deep tissue bodywork, and myofascial and friction therapies. Muscular therapy treats a variety of pain, injury and muscular tension problems.
Deep Tissue
Deep tissue is a type of massage therapy focused on realigning deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue. It is especially helpful for chronically tense areas and contracted areas such as stiff necks, low back tightness and sore shoulders. Some of the same strokes are used as classic massage therapy but the movement is slower and the pressure is deeper and concentrated on area of tension.
Sports Massage
Typically used to help athletes prepare and recover from activity. Depending on the needs of the athlete, a therapist will target specific muscles with a variety of techniques.
Swedish massage
the most commonly offered and best known type of massage. It is firm but gently pressure to improve the circulation, ease muscle aches and tension, improve flexibility and create relaxation.
Neuromuscular Therapy
This therapy engages the relationship between the nervous and muscular system to create a reflex response. This work can be intense. Communication between therapist & client is very important
Myofascial Release
This is typically done without oil or very little. Slow gentle sustained pressure is applied to melt and elongate tissue.
Prenatal Massage
Helps support women by addressing the different body aches & pains that arise during a pregnancy. Specially designed table to accommodate you throughout the different stages of your pregnancy.
